MIPS, collaborating with Arteris, Inc, has optioned Arteris FlexGen smart NoC IP and Magillem SoC integration automation software for scalable SoC platforms for physical AI in applications including automotive microcontroller units (MCUs), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), robotics, and embedded computing. MIPS will integrate Arteris system IP to enhance development of optimized SoCs built on MIPS RISC-V processors.

Arteris, Inc. has come to an arrangement to obtain Cycuity, Inc. Cycuity’s technology and knowledge strengthens Arteris’ current product portfolio, allowing engineers to better understand and improve security while transmitting data in chiplets and SoCs.

The agreement sees the interoperability between Semidynamics' Atrevido and Avispado 64-bit RISC-V processor IP cores and Arteris’ Ncore cache coherent network-on-chip (NoC) system IP.

The results is a flexible network-on-chip (NoC) interconnect for next generation AI solutions. The combination of Tenstorrent’s AI chiplet’s and RISC-V's openness are tailored specifically to users’ requirements.
